| Notarización o certificación previa | Documents must be notarized by an Arkansas Notary Public, or bear the seal and signature of an Arkansas elected official. Each signature must have an acknowledgement statement. Foreign-language documents need a complete English translation, a translator's affidavit and a notary acknowledgement of the translator's signature. A notary cannot certify a photocopy of a vital or public record; originals or certified copies are required. |

'online' method reflects the page's "Prepare an Apostille/Certification request online" link (request preparation); the brochure itself only describes mail and in-person submission. Credit cards accepted at BCS but not at the Elections Division. Express return requires a prepaid, preaddressed air bill and envelope. Ineligible: documents concerning immigration/citizenship/sovereignty, U.S. Department of State documents, foreign-language documents without English translation.
