Editor's note
"All orders must be submitted online we do not accept paper order forms" (sots.service.ct.gov/apostille); the physical document is then uploaded (e-Apostille) or mailed/hand-delivered with the printed order receipt and a prepaid return envelope. Fee amounts come from the SOTS order-form PDF (portal.ct.gov/-/media/SOTS/ElectionServices/Misc/Auth-order-form.pdf), which may predate the online system; the online portal could not be fetched to confirm current fees. That PDF lists a courier address of 30 Trinity Street, Hartford, whereas the current page lists 165 Capitol Avenue, Suite 1000; the current page's address is used here. Payment methods come from the same PDF (credit card, cash, check payable to "Secretary of the State"). Hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm. Hand delivery is described as drop-off, not a while-you-wait service.
