Editor's note

All requests must be ordered online at njportal.com/dor/apostille first; fees, processing times, addresses, and phone come from that official online service page (the main DORES page defers to it). Documents are then mailed (regular) or delivered in person/by courier (expedited; USPS not accepted for expedited). The main page's footer address (PO Box 628, Trenton, NJ 08625-0628) is a general address, not the apostille submission address. No email listed. Main page last updated 04/23/25.
